SUBSTANCE ABUSE EVALUATION SERVICE FEATURES

A formal structured clinical interview is conducted which addresses relevant client history and the signs and symptoms of substance abuse and dependence, both current and lifetime.

Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI) detects substance use disorders in clients who are unwilling or unable to acknowledge substance misuse and symptoms associated with it.

Substance Use Disorder Diagnostic Schedule (SUDDS) is designed to provide a graphic picture of substance abuse problematic behaviors. 

Recovery Attitude and Treatment Evaluator (RAATE) questionnaire objectively determines appropriate education and treatment placement by matching severity of illness with levels of care.  This instrument measures treatment progress and assesses treatment discharge readiness.

Professional consultation and documentation provide assessment summary with education or treatment recommendation sent to legal counsel or employer.*

Follow-up session reviews client education or treatment participation as assessed through discussion with client and treatment care manager.*

Compliance or non-compliance is then documented and sent to employer.*

*Only used in instances of a DOT substance abuse violation.
